The first team's season is underway in Division 1 of the National Conference league. The team went down to an 18-20 defeat in the opening match against Skirlaugh with another home game next week against Oulton Raiders. What should have been the first hit out, away at Myton Warriors on March 6th, was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Last year they faced teams from all three divisions due to the disruption of Covid.
Joint Coach, Sean Whitehead, believes the squad are prepared for what's to come.
He said: "It's going to be a tough old season. We have plenty of young players and some of our good older players are back as well. It's a step up in league and it's going to have to be a step up in quality. We are really looking forward to it."
