HOME WIN HOPE TO KICKSTART SEASON HOME WIN HOPE TO KICKSTART SEASON

The first team is still searching for a first league win as they meet Pilks at home today (Saturday, 2.30pm kick off). Three away games so far have ended in draw and two defeats, with the two scheduled home games being postponed.
Coach Wes Rogers said: "We've been starting really poor and giving them a 10 or 12 point start then kicking in for decent spell before dropping off again after half time.
"When we do start playing we have caused havoc but we're just not keeping it up consistently.
"The attitude is still great though and the team are never giving up and the working hard and fighting right to the end which is good to see.
"We're just looking forward to an eighty minute performance and hopefully we can do that on Saturday."

The seconds are having a better start to the season with four wins out of three, including a 52-0 victory over North Wales Crusaders A at the weekend.
Wes said: "The second team are doing great and it benefits the whole club.
"Shows it’s worth us training together it’s showing the results and performance and hopefully we can build a conveyor belt to bring some of the younger lads through."
The golden oldies were also in action at the weekend against Danny Atherton's GB Police Masters who were playing their first ever match.
