Huge congratulations to our joint U15s coach Kevin Sinfield on completing seven marathons in seven days for his friend Rob Burrow. The story of their friendship has camptured the imagination of the country and at the latest could, more than £1.9 million has been raised for Rob and MND Research. Another U15s coach, Darrel Rogers, was part of Kev's support team and cycled alongside him every day.

“On behalf of Saddleworth Rangers we could not be prouder of what Kevin has accomplished this week.

He has shown true grit, determination and a massive heart.

I know that he will be modest in what he has achieved this week not only for Rob but for all those families affected by MND.

He has demonstrated this week that rugby league develops friendships that last a lifetime. He is an inspiration to us all and a fantastic role model for our children.

What he brings to our club is priceless.

Also a big shout for Darrel Rogers too who has unselfishly given his time to support Kev whilst undertaking this mammoth effort.
