POSTS AND DUGOUTS ARE UP POSTS AND DUGOUTS ARE UP

We now have new posts to compliment the dug outs that were put in before Christmas. Both sets have been moved further away from the clubhouse so the pitch could be extended.
The funding came from a Rugby League World Cup Legacy grant and big thanks to JFK Builders, Frank and John Whitehead, for installing them.
The posts are 13m above ground, anchored in steel and concrete. They are hinged at surface level so they can be lowered for maintenance and protection from gale force winds.

When extending the pitch it was discovered that the old ones were two metres out of line with each other, looking down the pitch; and not centred equally on the try line. So post to touch line was a different length for each side of each post.
